We have received confirmation that Eidos Interactive’s newest game Batman: Arkham Asylum, originally scheduled for June 23rd, has been pushed back to late summer. An Eidos represenative:
“Eidos Interactive and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment can today confirm that Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released at the end of summer 2009. This additional time will allow us to ensure Batman: Arkham Asylum is of the highest quality for gamers.”
Batman: Arkham Asylum recieved a huge boost in preorders when Eidos announced that the PS3 version would allow for users to play as the Joker.
