In a recent live Q&A session, Seb Downie, QA Manager of Killzone 2, was asked whether or not Killzone 2 would support in-game soundtrack. In his response, he had this to say :
“Only for multiplayer via the XMB. In Single player the music is designed to match the action so it would be hard for us to mix up your favourite boyband.”
So, atleast in online play, KZ2 will be one of the first major PS3 games to support the in-game soundtrack feature.

crap game is crap, it’s a shame to see money wasted in this new Haze, and all the rabid fanboys defending this poor title, I will wait to the 360 version that will be clearly superior, just look at SFIV, the poor framerate and low res textures on the PS3 version, the 360 blows away this version, killzone is more like flop zone. please fanboys sell that bluray thingy and buy a real man harcore gamer console not girly stuff. meanwhile I’ll be playing a true multi harcore experience with gears 2 and halo ًں™‚

yes, I own the game and I worked as beta testers in GG, they put a heavy blur in the game to hide the AWFULS framedrops and HORRIBLE refresh rate problems the game has, without the blur it’s highly noticeable the incredible LOW RES textures, the FRAMERATE DROPS and the UGLY refresh rate, but the fanboys eyes can’t see them. I made mention of it but they said “we can’t solve that thanks to the limited memory and low quality hardware of the PS3”
